Where to begin the custom-home building process? - narrow lot floor plans
Can someone tell me a good or a website, advising on steps to provide a custom built home? My wife and I have much more in mind, we reduce the list of layouts. We may use information about the size of the tasks - and in what order - must be planned.

The process is different for the different areas. I would recommend going to amazon.com and buy a few books, such as your general contractor, and how to build your own house. (I have that I think is string as "building your house on a shoe"), some with more detail than others. But read a little and become familiar with certain terms and others. Also go through the stages.
But here are the basic steps.
See 1) to / buy the land. ensure that it meets all the requirements and needs of local construction. Examination of the evidence of the delivery, planning, septic tanks, driveways, facades, the minimum sizes.
Siting 2). where septic tanks (or in the sewer and water). where is the house where the good will (except in the city of water) comes from where the stream. and how they are routed to the home (determined by the corners)
3) excavation and foundation (the plans you have decided to disable) (prepared for the unexpected, you know what you find when DIG)
4) Development
5) soon (roof and exterior walls, and perhaps siding, windows) in the interior is protected against the weather)
6) electrical, plumbing, HVAC
7) insulator
8) Interior walls, floors, ceilings
9) The installation, painting, finishing, and electrical accessories plubing.
10) final solution, cleaning, painting.
These are the fundamentals
